Browning .22LR

I have sent Browing some information concerning the pistol serial #
Hoping to her back from them . It was made in Belgium . From what I could find on the internet I think it’s a Medalist just not one with a forestock

I'm pretty sure it's the Browing Medalist International model. I has no front grip, and one less vent on top of the barrel compaired to the other Medalists. There should be a "T" stamped under the barrel, near the serial number. There is also a single number inside a triangle which would help determine the year of production.

If there is no "T" present, then it could be a Nomad (the slightly simpler version) dressed up to look like a medalist. The Medalist can be set up for dry-fire, but I'm warning you, it's a pain to use (or maybe I'm just a clutz).

The Medalist is a sweet gun to fire. The trigger has no safety disconect, which makes it nice than the newer Buckmart pistols (which are still very nice pistols) The new Buckmark mags don't fit. It's a bit finicky with amunition, but once you figure out what it likes, it's a great pistol.

I forgot, if there is no "T" it could also be a dressed up Challenger. I can't recall if the order was: Medalist, Challenger, Nomad, or Medalist, Nomad, Challenger, but they were all based on the same basic platform as far as I know.

Anyway, they are fun pistols, and well made.
