I acquired a like new condition a bolt medallion in left hand. 270 win and like new condition, under 100 rounds through it. Wood stock with rosewood fore end. Any of the browning guys have an idea what it would be worth? Limited info online, mostly x bolt stuff. 800 range?

Appreciate the info

An abolt in like new condition would be pretty attractive to a fan of the platform. You might get $750 from a lefty who is looking for one.

Acquired, not purchased. It belonged to an old fella who no longer hunts, was now given to me. I am not a browning guy and have no use for a left hand rifle. Just curious what a ballpark used price may be as I will likely unload it.

It sounds like it is an A-Bolt Medallion with the rosewood tip. It should have a gloss - rather than mat - bluing and wood finish and some rolled "engraving" on the receiver. If in "as-new" condition it should sell for ~$750.00 as Plain-Jane "Hunter" models usually bring ~$650.00 in "well-used" condition.

It will also make a difference if it is an original A-Bolt or and A-Bolt II. Some people - me included - prefer the A-Bolt II as the original model was known to have feeding issues in some rifles that was solved with the non-rotating bolt sleeve of the later model.

Yes gloss finish and engraving. Very helpful, thank you.
