I was wondering how much a Browning Auto 5 goes for? I have found one that i think is a good deal but I'm not to sure. It has a funny looking muzzle break and some other things on it. Ill get pictures of it later!

Not to be difficult, but how about some idea of Age, Gauge, Condition, description of the "Funny Muzzle Break & Some Other Things" ... who could possibly guess... ?

If you really need some good help ... provide some good information ... & a photo or two... otherwise just make what you "think is a good deal"

ok I went back and looked at it It dose look like a muzzle brake has the slits down the side like a muzzle brake but it is a type of adjustable choke. It is in good condition, i would say about 90% it is newer as it is made in the USA. It is a 12 ga 2 3/4 sorry for the lack of info.

It isn't worth much Riley... you are very limited with a 2 3/4 only shotgun... and those poly-chokes are old tech.
They sell in good condition for about $300 down here.

If it was made in the States it is not a newer one. The only Auto5s made in the States were made by Remington for Browning in the 1940s when the Germans occupied Belgium during the war. They were made in Japan after about 1976, before that they were made in Belgium.

2/3/4" auto-5 is a nice gun. If you dont; shoot 3" shells (I almost never do), then it would be a completely adequate shotgun. I would look for one with a fixed modified choke though, I HATE those adjust-o thingy junky add-ons.

I bought a couple of Browning A5's last winter. Regular full chokes .. One with a rib and 3" I believe .. the other 2 3/4 inch. Fine old shotguns .. Got them at a gunshop for $175 each .. I always thought that they were the classic waterfowl shotgun .. Heck, maybe some day I'll go and whack a spoonbill with one ..
