Hi guys looking for some info on a Browning auto 5 20Gauge 3” Made in Belgium shotgun. The shotgun appears to be in good to VGC from the pics I have seen. It has some nice engraving on the receiver and a gold trigger. I know it hasn’t seen much use. Unfortunatly I cannot post pictures to this site. I am just trying to help a friend move these along and just looking for an approximate fair valuation. I am not much of a shotgunner myself and don’t know much about them. Tried searching but couldn’t find anything. Thanks very much in advance for any help. Cheers Rp

I believe the gold trigger makes it a lightweight model... ?

Without good pictures and an accurate description my guess is $500 to $900 ... depends also on a quick sale for less $ or a couple of months or more for more $.

If you can post on CGN you can also post pictures. You just need them stored on a picture hosting website and then post them using the "Insert Image" tool in the bar above the text. I use https://postimages.org/ . It is free.

Hi guys, it’s a 3” gun according to the description. All mag 20’s had gold triggers Belgian or Jap, all light 20’s did too for that matter, there was no standard 20 unlike the 12’s and 16’s.

If it is a Magnum 20, it should have 3 steel friction rings and 2 bronze friction pieces. A treat would be that it has the magazine plug too. The going rate is as suggested, $800-1200, or whatever you can get for it. If it is in excellent condition, hasn’t had a recoil pad added, the fore arm isn’t cracked and it has all of its little bits and pieces under the forearm, then it’s in the upper end of the price range. It’s been my experience however that most are missing something, particularly the magnum guns. For what it’s worth.....

This is correct information, just would like to add that the friction rings are available
from parts dealers as well as spring kits.
