So I've inherited my grandfather's Browning Auto 5. I've browsed the net some and see that they seem to be priced anywhere from $300 - $1300.
Where can I find out what it is worth?
At the risk of sounding like a dummy, I can't even be sure that I've found the serial number. On the barrel, it says B74027. On the bottom near the magazine, it says 464128. Neither fits Browning's records. I would guess it dates from mid 40's to early 50's. It is Belgian made. 2 3/4 only. Wood is in good shape.
Any ideas where I can found out more?
Thanks
