Browning Auto 5 Magnum Serials Coincidence?

Hoping a Browning Auto 5 expert can give me a definitive answer on this. I've been searching hell's half acre for 2 things: an excellent condition Winchester M12 field grade and Belgian Browning Auto 5 Magnum (both 12g). The M12 has been hard to find, however I have come across 2 excellent Browning's. The frustrating part is that both excellent Browning Auto 5 Magnums I have found had 32" barrels with non-matching serial numbers to the receiver. Is this a coincidence or is it possible these Auto 5's came from Belgium non-matching? Thoughts?

FN stopped matching barrel/receiver numbers in 1953. Your guns are very likely all original just assembled after 1953.

The A-5 3" mag ol` paw bawt me in the early 80's has unmatching numbers.
The few that are here are of the same delinquence.

O.K. Something I did not know, or think about.
I knew of some M12's, but not great and The old fellow passed, so don't know what is going on now.
