My father doesn't think he's going to be able to hunt anymore, so is wanting to part with his shotgun, but doesn't know the value.

Could someone give me an idea as to approximate value? It is a Browning 20 gauge 3 inch in good or better condition.
Thanks

Like the poster above me said hard to say with out pictures. Also does it have choke tubes or is it fixed choked. All these will help to decide its value.
Unless you already have an A5 20 gauge I would recomend you try and get it and keep it.

Ribbed barrel helps the sale.
I would think $500 would be an easy sell on the EE.
They seem to have garnered a handsom reward.
If you don't buy it, send me a p.m. as this would be
my budget on one of those.

check the 32nd edition for pricing, these guns with fancy wood, choke tubes, and ribs could be worth upto $1600.00 in 95% condition, dont be fooled by someone offering less until you have made a through evaluation. on the dealers shelf you will see the high price,, however if your trading to dealer , expect an low offer. good luck

blacklab, my comments of $500 to $1200 was not an offer, but rather a broader picture of what you may expect.
Even if it where appraised at twice the valuation I mentioned you will find guys badgering you to sell for a lot less $$
There are people willing to pay top dollar for the model Light A-5 and then again there are those who are just tire kickers.
Have you considered keeping the gun yourself?
