i have recently purchased a B78 in 30/06. i have not been able to bring the shots DOWN onto target. my scope is a weaver 6x.
so i went to a dealer to buy a new scope and they found the rear base is about 1/8" higher than the front base.
they tried every low wall, high wall base and it was the same problem.
they even tried a mix of high wall low wall bases.
so ... shim the front or mil down the rear ... or is there another answer?
(we are talking about 9" high at 50 yards.)
