Many , many years ago , I had the pleasure of shooting an Browning BAR that was altered for semi auto only.
Went through the 20rd mag , shooting at a refirigerator set out in a field 300yd out .
It was an unforgettable experience ... recoil from the 30/06 rd coming out of that big brute was so minimal , my grandmother could have shot it , but I would have to carry it...lol
