Browning BBR?

Two words for you guys who find it too heavy to carry 'gym membership' lol. I don't like those whippy little toys that are the flavour of the month right now.

Bought a new one in 338WM at the end of the BBR run. Never noticed the weight really back then. She sure did shoot nice. Unless you looked at the barrel or the shell casing, you'd never know it was a magnum you were shooting.

The BBR was similar to the Weatherby MKV only in the number of lugs and the bolt diameter. There were no other similarities. I have always doubted the patent infringment story but it may be true nonetheless.
The recoil lug/bedding system was a little weird. The trigger, typical of Browning, was unnecessarily complicated. The method of attachment to the receiver is also strange.
For some reason, I saw a disproportionate number of broken stocks on BBR's. This may have been due to poor layout and weak wood, or maybe BBR owners were just abusive! Regards, Bill.

Have 1 in 270 win dont like it doesnt feed right. Cousin had same problem same gun and caliber.

I recently purchased a used one and ended up retruning it for the same reason, left hand round in the clip would always seem like it wanted to jam/required extra force to chamber.

Strange, same calibre too.....

Frosty.

Have one in 30-06. Very accurate. Had a Decellerator recoil pad put on it when I switched ammo to the Federal HE 180 NPs. Don't really notice the kick. I refinished the stock with Diamond Coat. It takes a beating and buffs up with a little furniture polish. Anyone know where I can get a clip?
