Browning BBRs

Here is my BBR in .338 win mag and Winchester featherweight in 25-06 which were probably last fired about 30 years ago. I think I might put 80 to 60 rounds through each if that at all. Still looking mint pretty sitting in my safe, why I don't know. When I was hunting way back then, I used my M77 Ruger in 7mm mag.

I feel that the BBR is the last good Browning bolt action rifle built.

That being said, I don't put any extra value in 9 locking lugs, since it is rare for them all to bear evenly anyway.

These were quality firearms, and generally shot well.

Regards, Dave.

I love my Micro Medallions and will never part with any of them! Light weight, short LOP, shoot so very well and they are all so darn purdy. I also love the hunter's delight DM system.:d

I have 2 in .300 win mag Mine and my brothers ( he gave up Hunting got married) His has a major crack in the wrist area, retired as cannot find a stock Mine has accounted for a fair amount of Moose and deer. workmanship is outstanding but a bit heavy. tack driver with right load. I keep looking for a stock like a Bell&Carson but no one is into making them. Would order a McMillian but costs more then I want to pay plus needs a gunsmith to fit. Just retired and cannot afford that. but would not sell or trade them. in general they are way better then Win mod 70 or any Rem. or Savage .
