Hey all. I'm wanting to refinish the stock and fore-end on one this weekend, but have a question. The front barrel band has a pin in it, and one side seems to have visable 'teeth' on the pin. Can I drift this pin out safely without damage? And is there any direction it needs to come out of? Thanks in advance.

If the "teeth" are on the left side, looking down at the top of the action, drift the pin from the right out the left side. If the teeth are on the right, drift that way.
