Many people don't like the 380ACP caliber but for those who are looking for a low recoiling, centerfire caliber - this adds a choice to the limited one we had before. I will buy one when they come in, if the price is reasonable. Beginners to centerfire and smaller shooters will be perfect for this 380 1911 pistol. Just my opinion.

I'll look at it as a nice gun to let non-gun friends start out on.. Going from my .22 1911 to a .45 1911 is a little jump(though the look on their face after the first .45 round fired is priceless). The .380 would be a good interim round. Plus it's cheaper then .45 for plinking. If it's in the $500-700 range, I may pick one up.

I like the idea of a .380 but I've handled a Browning 1911-22 and they just seemed too small for my tastes....felt like a toy in my hand.

I would prefer it if they started producing their S70 Commander in 9mm again.

There is a market void left by the unicorn Beretta Model 86 in the restricted class. And the Makarov and other former prohib' handguns with a the newer barrel extensions look just much too odd for most of us.

Exactly ^^^. This will be another choice for those looking for a 380ACP pistol.

I will buy one if it's reasonably priced. I'm hoping it'll be at most, around $600 like the Black Label 22.

I am interested in one too. I always had my eye on getting a Beretta 86. That was until I shot a friends Beretta 84 and was not impressed with the nasty bite the 380 gave in a non locked action. was more painful than any 9mm I shot. Even my light Glock 17's. So learning of this 1911 in 380 with a locked action has really got my gears turning.

I admit I was interested from a lightweight CCW standpoint, but I would go .357 revolver instead.

Always works even with one hand disabled and reloadable with one hand as well.

All .22's seem like a cap gun to me, which is why I got rid of the boring caliber.

This may be the same frame as the 22 though, scaled down 1911.
