Are these a good rifle? Had one offered to me for 1100 bucks with scope and sling and case

They are definitely a good rifle, the only thing and that is just me, is the long action blr when you run the lever the bolt come out quite far back. I prefer the short action one like in 308.

Good leather sling 3 mags and a tasco scope rifle appears to be from 1993 I think

I can't come up wirh a reason to own one, to me a lever action should be compact, light, and quick handling, a blr in 7mm remmag isn't any of those.

long action levers are an abomination to me. I handled and cycled one at a outdoor show. No thanks. Browning should stick to short action cartidges in the BLR.
