Is a hammer extension available for these fine old relics?

They should be available in Canada...as to who has one, that I do not know.
Browning does not reccomend using one though...

One could have a small hole drilled and tapped into the side of the hammer and use a threaded stud into that hole.

I might have one here, Luke. I have an original BLR in .358 Win (Japan, not Belgium made) inbound, and can see if the hammer extensions I have here will work on that one.
