Browning BPS buckshot choke advice

I use a kicks buckkicker for 2.75" buckshot 00. At 40 yards (range finder) 7 pellets consistently in a 12" circle.

I've shot a lot of buckshot of the years. The only certainty is that each load will pattern differently with each choke. Sometimes not what you expect, in my case I found some loads pattern tighter with cylinder bore vs modified. I think it has too do with the wider the choke it leaves less flatspots on the pellets, which in turn makes them fly straight (tight pattern).

The only general rule I have found is;

Flight control wads, and loads with buffer will undeniably pattern tighter.
