Browning BPS - Invector Plus Barrel in Invector Receiver?

Does anyone know if the newer Browning BPS barrels with the invector plus screw in choke system will fit the older receivers (1980's) that used barrels with the older invector choke system?

I bought a new inv. plus barrel 1 year ago and it fit my bps [reg. invector ] built in 1989 with no problem.

No problem with the scenario you've outlined. I've done the same with my 1981 BPS.

So where did you get the BPS barrel from? I have a new one with a 22in barrel and would like one longer.
