browning BPS pump 12 gauge

i was looking at a Browning BPS pump 12 gauge bottom eject any words of the wise?

They are one of the smoothest cycling shotguns around. I've never been too keen on them d/t the wood/long barrel lengths... but low and behold:

I had one for a very short time before i sold it. The BPS i had, kicked harder than an angry mule??? Any way try one before you buy!!

Great gun, but the one's I had had two issues...

(1) rust, and the gun was NOT abused, you HAD to clean it and oil it religiously, it simply didn't tolerate abuse.

(2) the vent rib on the barrel WILL bend if you tap it against a tree, drop it in the duck boat etc. It's an aluminum rib, a design flaw in my opinion.

Otherwise, I like the BPS.
