Ok, just got back from the store last weekend. After playing with both guns. I agree with everyone's opinion. The sauer is a much livier gun, and a bit lighter (for a 12). However, I ended up with the BSS. It fits me very well, as well as having the familiar feel of a chunky Browning O/U. It carries like a wet rug, but swings pretty well.
I took it out to my buddies place to shoot a few clay and patterned it. It shoots slightly high, about 70/30. The chokes are slightly loose for IC/MOD. Both point to same POI at about 35 yds.
Here's my dilemma, I kinda feel in love with this gun and might want to take it out for a few more duck hunts. What are my options?
1) I patterned a few rds of tung matrix and they pattern very loose...not to mention it costed about 25 bucks to shoot a few card board.
2) Shoot some steel #4s and limit the amounts of rds through it to 1-2 boxes a season.
3) ???
I'll take some pics when I get home.
