I am considering purchasing a BT99 for trap shooting. Any idea as to when the gun below might have been made? How about an approximate value in like new condition?

If you get the serial # off of the receiver you can look up on the Browning web site and find out when it was made. I believe it is the first two alphabetic characters that define the year it was made.

I am a long ways from a Browning expert but considering it doesn't have a beaver tail foreend I am going to guess in the 80's or 90's. As for value with the adjustable MOrgan pad . I wouldn't pay more than $950

they had those forearms in the late '70's, I had one. It doesn't much matter when it was made, the condition is what sets the price. You can buy a new one for $1200 or so, here's an ad from Goble's for a new one
