Browning Buck Mark 22 pistols

the question is why do they exist.. same question re ruger marks
I guess, it is ok for sports shooting and that's about it

this funny field strip video answers it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPh-d9TgS3k
same crazy engineering field strip videos re: ruger marks

greenhouse handguns-they work fine until you start to field strip them, and then it is hell, compare this to Sig P226 22LR

They are a great dedicated .22 design with a reputation for good accuracy, being extremely reliable and not particularly picky about ammo. I have a Buck Mark Camper UFX Stainless that I use for Rimfire Steel Challenge. It's seen many 1,000's of rounds of bulk .22 with very few issues.

There is a very thorough review/test here that has actual accuracy and reliability data....

I have had a couple over the years. Very good pistols. Accurate, reliable ,

My only complaint would be that the slide can be a little difficult to rack because there
is not much to grab on to , especially if one has older hands,. Not a big deal though.

I bought a used one last year. My only complaint with it is I get less holes in the paper because it keeps putting bullets through the same hole...LOL. I have put all kinds of ammo through it and it will take all of it and I rarely have any issues. Great for and ultra cheap day at the range.

I bought mine as my first handgun many years ago and used it for bulls eye bush league competition with no problems. Most shooters had Rugers and such so I fit right in. I used it until I got a deal on a Smith 41. A couple of weeks ago I took it to the club and one guy looked at it and thought it was a new gun for me.

i do believe Tandemkross sells a racker thing you can put on it to assist in racking it.
