I've been shooting one of these with a Bushnell TRS-25 in Rimfire Steel Challenge for a couple of years now. Great little gun. very reliable and not at all picky about ammo. I'm surprised that a search failed to show up any discussion on them in this forum. Anybody else been using one?

Funnily enough mine was completely an impulse buy while walking through our local CT one day. I'm glad I gave in to temptation. :d

Oh, no doubt it’s not accurate compared to bolt guns but for hitting steel plates at 20 yards fast? :d

Oh hey, don't get me wrong, it is a damn fine gun. But you are correct, I am more of a target/gopher guy than steel challenge though it is fun as well.

For what I like to do best (print tiny groups, splatter gophers at 200m) it is out of its element.

But for having banging away, it is excellent. Why else would I have one with 10 mags?

When ever I get the itch to buy one, one can not be found.
Been interested in one for about 8 years, but always something else comes along for the time being.

They are a lot of fun. You have to own one just once. Def gets a few looks at the range.
mag release that works so great on the pistol sucks on the rifle since you can't quite thumb it like you can the pistol. Minor quibble. I have the Laminated HB, and take it out all the time.

I shoot one... used mostly on grouse, hares and squirrels... most here would be surprised at the groups that it will print when you find the right ammo... mine likes CCI SV's... I scoped it with a Leupold VX 2-7X28mm Rimfire with fine Duplex.

One group at 50 yards, five groups at 75 yards.

Mine groups close to yours, but not quite. But it's tasking is different. What is inexcuseable in a bolt gun is AWESOME in a semi.

I just bought one here on EE. The first thing I did was run various types of ammo through it. From CCI mini-mags, wildcats and winchester bulk. It never missed a beat. Mine is the sporter model and it is so light and easy to carry, I believe there will be another 1022 on the EE shortly.

Have the sporter version. Fun gun for gophers. Got to have glasses due to them spitting back crap, only glitch. Pistol is far enough away from your face so haven't ever felt that.
