Browning Buckmark jam, any thoughts

I used to buy a lot of rimfire from consignment, they are almost with no exceptions flawed. I mean, whenever I see used semi rimfire in store I just know someone is trying to get rid of it for a reason. Well that gave me some hands on knowledge on how to fix em.

First off - be observant to what actually happen. Has firing pin hit hard enough? Has case been extracted? Did it eject or has it been cought by returning bolt? Has new round been fed into chamber? Did it go all the way in?

When you see what is happening you will know what to fix. 9 times out of 10 problem turns out to be simple fix.

Regarding your issue with firing pin - turn slide vertically and feed a few drops of something right into pin's opening. Kerosene would be best but WD40, powder solvent or othr cleaning solution will do. Leave it like this for a while to let it work.

Change ammo brand a few more times. Pay attention to bullet shape or how dirty ejected case or if it fire reliably - they are all different, makes huge difference.

Feeding issues with rimfire almost with no exception is magazine not sitting high enough.
