Browning Buckmark Recoil Spring Retaining Ring

Hi Guys,

Not a very exciting topic but I'm having trouble finding a replacement recoil spring c clip. It went flying and I can't find it!

Anyone know of a store in Canada that would sell these online?

Was it a 1 wall, 2 wall, 3 wall or ceiling ping?

If 1 wall, you should be able to find it. 2 wall pings are questionable. The rest are a write off.

Get a magnetic wand from PA and give the area a sweep.

I spent a good hour look by for it and now given up. It was a ceiling, wall then floor I think. Somewhere must sell these? I don't believe I'm the first idiot to lose this!

Just FYI for anyone who finds this post with the same question, western gun parts in Edmonton were very helpful and seem to have lots of parts - their number is 780-489-5711

I did that too. I was able to reassemble the gun without it, temporarily.

I found a generic replacement C-clip at Fastenal, that fit the guide rod groove. But it was too big around the outside to fit in the recess for it in recoil buffer, and the gun couldn't be reassembled with it on there.

I ended up ordering an authentic replacement from Brownells. Got a few extras, in case another goes flying.
