Is it truth this rifle spit some residues in your face during the cycling. I want to buy one but i'm worry about this problem. I don't want a 10/22. It's a piece of junk. I had a lot of problem with all my 10/22.

I have the Buckmark rifle also, and don't find any residue being spit back. One of my favourite rifles, and very accurate as stated by Curly.

I have never owned a BuckMark firearm.
I have had debris blown into my face though from several other firearms.
Ruger SA Bisley .22 and a Ruger GP 100 in .357 and shooting .38 special through it.

What ammo are you using in your BuckMark?
When you figure out if the gun has issues or it is your choice of ammo that is causing this anomaly you may want to wear eye protection when shooting this gun.

Rob.

I have the target model and have had stuff hit my GLASSES but it is oil ,grease etc when I over lube . Wipe everything off and it's no problem but I still wear my glasses.

If you are getting burning powder blowing back, it's usually a sign of a weak recoil spring. I know in my Ruger MKII that's when it's done and time for a new one.

Yes, stuff does hit your face, you should always wear glasses anyway. Still like the gun.

Agreed, ive owned one since they have came out many years ago and on occasion it will spit abit of powder back at ya, very minor IMO and not something that should deter you from owning one, as others have stated that they have not had this issue so mabey its more of an ammo thing. My pistol does the same on occasion.

I had one for a time, very accurate gun and a wonderful crisp trigger...but mine also spit gas/debris back on my face with regularity. When I asked a friend who had owned one for quite some time, he confirmed that his did the same. I never shoot without eye pro, so this was really just a minor irritation, but it eventually bothered me enough that I traded it off.

The new owner smiled when I mentioned this to him and just said "That's okay...all my guns do that!" :)

Well its a design flaw if that's the case because you can't sit your head too close to the action or you will eat the slide as it actions rearward, and of course with a pistol your a lot farther away from the action, well at least i hope you are ;-) Don't get me wrong there cool little rifles, I thoroughly enjoyed mine when i had it, it was just a minor little reminder to always where the eye armour
