whats the deal on these? are they decent shooters and are reliable? i dont hear much about them here on cgn. are they just souped up buckmark pistols with a rifle stock or are they a different beast all together using the same name. i like the pistol version of the buckmark, im thinking i might pick up a rifle companion for it if its based off the pistol.

Have one with a Weaver 3-9 32 AO classic on it. Nice compact carbine, sporter bbl is a little lighter, find it suits the gun better. Been out gopher shooting, does a bang up job. At the range using Win 555 bulk it's as good as I can shoot. Targets at 25 yrds are as good as my Annies and Belgian T bolt. Again as good as I can shoot. It's not a bench gun but a fun shooter, has a lot of cool factor for a price.

Had my Browning T1 and BMR out today for some gopher shooting. Started out with the T1 and switched over to the Buckmark. Over 100 gophers down, the BMR is a hoot, If I can hold on target it will do great out to 100 yrds. Follow up shots are a breeze.
