Browning Buckmark Sporter Rifle

They shoot like a dream so not many show up for sale
You must have gotten lucky. I previously owned 2 of them and “shoot like a dream” wasn’t exactly my experience with the buckmark. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed shooting them…as a 25 yd beer can gun…where jams, stovepipes and mag malfunctions saved ammo and gave more time for buddy to drain the next target.

Mine was amazing. Trigger was light and fairly accurate. Maybe not as accurate as high end 22's, but definitely not disappointing. I regret getting rid of it.

Yeah I thought that would be an interesting conversion piece. As the Ruger mk series upper/barrel is the firearm.

I know that one US company makes that upper but, would be cool to have more options. Especially since the lower/grip is unregulated and would be cool. Though it would be limited to 10 round magazines.

I had the standard version, heavy barrel and carbon fibre version, all three ran well, no issues, but I also stuck to better ammo, and usually a little hotter.
I regret selling the carbon fibre one, and have kept an eye out for a few years, but the Buckmark rifles werent hot sellers back in the day, and rarely come up.
