Browning Citori Gun Value

gun digest book of gun values shows a citori gr.i field as v. good $600.00, execellent $640.00 and perfect at $ 820.00 give or take some. a lot just depends on local markets. from what i've been told they don't recieve the value in western canada they do in the east. this is in u.s. dollars
 
It will also depend on wether it has fixed cjhokes or tubes, 1979 is very likely fixed Full/Mod. The condition appears to be excellent minus the mark on the bbl but unfortunately with the non-tox regs guys have little to no use for full choke.
 
In my neck o' the woods ... $ 750 +/- and figure having the chokes taken out to something like IC/Mod or SK/SK for $ 50 to 75 per tube. Still a very useful lead-shot shotgun for Upland or Targets.

Sounds about right... of course for about $200-$300 it can be tapped for tubes as long as there is enough metal to work with.
Then it should be worth a few more pennies as a new one is in the $1600 plus range.
