Interested in purchasing one, looking to hear anyfeed back & general info on this firearm. I cannot find too much info on the web about them other than the obvious...3 1/2.. If anyone could help me it would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

I have one, 3 1/2" chambering its great mostly use it for clays but ever once in a while shoot some 3 1/2 inch shells for fun. Shooting a Quick double with 2 1/4 ounces of shot in each shell does rattle your brain. I have about five thousand round through mine no problems. I have seen citori's that have shot hundreds of thousands of shells and still lock up tight. IMHO the best shotgun ever made.

It's essentially the same as a Lightning (if I'm not mistaken), it just has a 3.5" chamber which makes it a 'hunter' model. The wood is probably more of a field grade as well.

All Citori actions are identical - it's just the engraving, wood and 'extras' that you pay more for.

For a first O/U, you can't really go wrong with a Citori (it was my first! :))

Its more of a basic model. But as it implies its more for hunters, its cheaper then the more expensive trap or skeet guns but can shoot 3 1/2". I've owned one for a few years, shoot a few ducks with it, and used it for a yearly sporting clays fundraiser. But it doesnt get much time outside the gun safe, more of just bought it to have and keep.

My friend also has one and uses it for pheasants and sporting clays and he likes it too. I can see where guys like the other O/U models better but it depends what you're looking for, more hunting or at the skeet range.

I bought mine new two years ago, for I think 1499+tax. I've since seen them all around that price, in the 1500-1600 range. Not sure if browning is still making the model either, I cant find it on their website list but I remember they made in a few years back, then stopped then made another run from last 3-4 years it seems.

no idea on the model you want but i shoot a cynergy sporting model. awsome shotgun i use it for trap shooting only. run a few thousand rounds though and it shows no sine of breaking in. still nice a tight.
