Browning Citori or Cynergy 20ga

I'm just wondering what the opinions would be of people that shot both. I will be purchasing a 20 gauge field just haven't had the chance to compare side by side yet of which suits me better.
 
Look for a used Charles Daly Miroku O/U in 20ga. They are nearly identical to a Citori Lightning made by the same company in the same plant using the same equipment..... Best deal around.
 
That's funny that you mention that, a good hunting friend of mine started purchasing multiple citori's because of his beautiful Charles Daly O/U spring broke that can not be replaced. So I will not be getting a Charles Daly and going down that route.
 
Thanks, I've been watching their website for sometime now but I haven't seen any field 20ga citori's or cynergys. I'm noticing that there are alot of lightening models for sale everywhere. I'd don't care for the rounded pistol grip that the lightening has. I plan on looking at my local gun shop this weekend.
 
Just incase someone searches for a comparison on the 2 guns, I went will the the Citori Field 625. No dealers had 2 available to compare on site. Shooters Choice were very helpful but it just didn't work out. Citori is proven and sound, Cynergy nobody could give me an answer if they were liked or not.
 
I don't really like the look of the cynergy, but I handled a 20 gauge cynergy classic and would love to get one. It is a trim, quick handling, beautiful gun to use. The citori is nice too, but I think the cynergy handles better.
 
Can't comment on the 20, but I had a 12gauge Citori that I sold and replaced with a Cynergy feather. Handling and fit was much better with the Cynergy for me. The look has grown on me as well.
 
Shot with both in 12 g and handling of both is really great,different but great.The only
thing with the cynergy is they have problems with their firing pins that are made of aluminium,one
of our members broke his an waited a few weeks before having his gun back.
 
I highly doubt that cynergy firing pins are made of aluminum. Regardless. I have a cynergy satin classic field in 20 ga and it is a great shotgun for carrying in the bush for grouse, the firing mech is very reliable and it swings quick. The problem is that my stock cracked with about 650 rounds out of it and now its in for warranty during prime grouse season. Must have been built on a friday afternoon :( . Despite my misfortune I would still give it a thumbs up
 
I have a Citori Field 20 gauge built in 1992 and used very little,till I got it. It has really nice wood on it,an all around delightful shotgun that gets compliments at all the ranges. I dont know anything about Cynergys but just wanted to say I do like my Citori very much.
 
I got my cynergy about 4 years now (20 feather) I have used it for everything used it for rabbit's, upland with partridge, grouse , and for sporting clays. I got well over 4000 rounds on this gun. I find it so good that my franchi 12,bps 16,12 gold,22 yellow jacket, don't get to leave the safe as often as they would like
