Hi All,

Just need some help here. Have a Browning Citori that has been a safe queen for WAY too long and think it needs to go, the problem is I have no idea what the value is. Was going to put it on the exchange but want to get a reasonable number in my head first. It's been in our family since new in the early 80's and is in good condition. Has lots of hours trucking around the Manitoba prairies chasing down Chickens and Huns so it is not perfect but still really nice. Can anyone give me a ball park what it should be worth; would posting pictures help?

Thanks in advance,

Jason

A little detail would help.

- What gauge ?
- Fixed or Invector chokes?
- Barrel length.

Yes, posting pictures would be a big help.

So I did a little more research and it is actually from 1974 and is a 12 Gauge. It is a 3" chambered shotgun and has fixed chokes and selectable barrel switch. Here are a couple pics:

Without Invector chokes in well used condition $600.00 - $700.00

Looks in need of some TLC as the action looks dry. Some light grease and oil the extractors.

Its the first generation of Citori, called a pre-type 1. Basically a Miroku - note is has no engraving. Its also a trap gun by the looks of it. I bought a similar gun a few years ago for 700$, in better shape.

Thought trap gun as well from type of stock but no info on the chokes and barrel length. Likely choked at F/F or F/M
