Hi.

Just like the title says if you had to pick one which would it be and why?
To be clear not the tupperware stock Cynergy. I am looking at a wood stocked piece approx $500 below the cost of the Beretta.
30" tubes on the Browning. 28" tubes on the Beretta

I would be using it primarily for trap with hopefully an occasional trip to Alberta for pheasant.

Thanks in advance.

Which ever one fits best is the obvious answer but if it was my decision I would chose the Silver Pigeon. I fortunately own both and the reason why I would chose the Beretta, if fit was not a factor, would be because 1, the Silver Pigeon retains it's market value better even though it will cost you more up front. 2, it is a more attractive gun than the Browning IMO. 3, it is a lighter gun which doesn't amount to much when at the range but when I take those early morning walks, the Beretta certainly makes a better upland gun and 4, it is a slimmer gun which might not fit you proper such as in my case but you can still munipulate it a bit easier out in the field. On the range where your shots are set up in a controlled manner, don't mind the fat forend of my Cynergy and infact in those circumstances, I prefer it and I just rave about how all my Brownings lock up but are those enough to edge them ahead of my Silver Pigeon and the answer for me is no. Whatever you decide, try not to ever have any regrets.

Oh and BTW, I bought my Silver Pigeon first because I was planning to buy both and after buying the one that cost more, the cost of the Cynergy didn't seem to bad. Just a psychological thing I guess but it works for me but then again I do that with cars also.lol

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I picked up the Beretta this morning.
Initially the Cynergy raised to the shoulder better than the Beretta. However the more I brought the Beretta up the better it felt. Probably giving up a little on the trap range with the shorter barrels but it felt better in my hands. The Cynergy was definitely a little fatter in the hands.
