Browning Cynergy info likes-dislikes

I'm thinking it's going to be a 725 for me, although it's a personal choice, I have no experience with the Cynergy. Just what feels right. The Cynergy did have some issues with fore stock cracking apparently. Don't know if that was widespread or has been resolved. I think Browning may drop either the 625 or the Cynergy in a couple years, I don't see them keeping 3 o/u guns in their lineup. That's assuming they keep the 725, of course.

I have both a Field model and Sporting in 12 Ga. I like them. Only problem that i have had is that the screws in the fore stock do come loose. Have went to red loctite on the Sporting. I would expect that the cracking issues are from people allowing the screws to come loose and continue shooting.
The butt stock has also come loose on my sporting. A little loctite on it as well and good to go.
If you find that it fits you well, I don't think that you would go wrong with a Cynergy.

I have a camo 12 gauge Cynergy I use for duck hunting. Tried a few Benellis , a CZ combination gun, a Stoeger, Citori and a Remington before I bought it. I LOVE it and it's fit and finish is EXCELLENT!! Any Miroku Brownings are top notch and you will not be disappointed! Having said that I'm not totally sure the Cynergies are Miroku-built.
I too have a Citori White Lightning I shoot sporting clays with,doesnt seem to handle well for me as I am of medium build.I shot both the standardweight camo Cynergy and the composite stock Cynergy light this year and found the fit and point much better than the Citori for me.Next April I will buy the Cynergy light.
While I've had a smoldering interest for years (and have played TONNES with semi autos and pumps) I just started seriously checking out the over under world this past year. I've had beretta silver pigeons in 28 gauge, 20 gauge, and 12 gauge, a beretta 692, a citori 725 12 gauge, an older ruger red label, a couple of Webley and Scott 2000s, and now a cynergy sporting model.
Out of everything I've tried, the cynergy fits me the best: it's the most comfortable for me and I hit best with it, but I had to rotate through a tonne of difference over unders to figure it out. I think the best advice I'd have would be to echo others...unless you don't mind the hassle (and serious investment of $$) of trying everything on your own dime, seek out others to try as many different types/makes as you can before you make your choice.

I shot the 725 sporting yesterday, 12 ga with 30" barrels. Nice gun, fits me well and I shot half decent with it. For me, it has better balance and mounts easier than the 625 sporting I looked at. It's soon going to be decision time!
I'm undecided on the mechanical triggers, I don't think Browning had many problems with the inertia ones. The 725 has a very nice trigger pull, light and crisp. The Cynergy has nice trigger too, a bit heavier than the 725 I think.
