I am in the market for a new O/U for waterfowl hunting and been thinking hard on the new Browning Cynergy in Duck Blind camo or Max-4. I know fit and feel are major factors when buying a new shotgun but there are no Browning dealers here on the Island so handling one is not an option for me. Would like to hear some opinions (good or bad) from anybody out there that has a cynergy or had one. Also anyone that knows of any dealers with one in stock, if you could shoot me a PM would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jeremy

I checked one out on the weekend. As soon as I picked it up my first thought was heavy. That would be a bonus though when shooting heavy duck loads all day out of an over/under. Nice gun! I've never shot one though.

I've been shooting a Cynergy sporting - my instructors gun - at skeet. I'm very much a newbie so take anything I say with a big grain of salt.

It feels like a nice gun to me. I have not shot anything else so there is not much of a basis of comparison. I have shouldered a Beretta 686 Sporting but found that the LOP on the Cynergy fit me much better.

The only thing I don't like about it is I actually find the gun looks ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

Hey Jeremy, I have a Citori that I love. It's a 3 1/2 chamber and I use it to shoot skeet. I like the heavier weight as it doesn't kick the shoulder off me like a lighter gun. I mount it and it pouints like a dream. Reply if you would like to have a look at it.

I bought a cynergy this year and love it, points like a dream. Thought I was going to go with a classic style o/u but it fit son well I had to go with it.

You can't go wrong IMHO

Well I have a Citori satin hunter in 3 1/2" on the way. I love the look of the Cynergy and was leaning towards one just for the camo but couldn't pass up the Citori when I came across it. Now I just can't wait for it to show up so I can try it out.

Love my Cynergy. The Citori's do not fit me worth a damn. Pistol triggers in the Cynergy are faster lock time than the inertia trigger reset in the Citori's.

I have the Composite Sporting Euro, 30"BBLS and it is one of the softest shotguns, I have ever shot. Swings beautifully, and yes, even hunted quail and ducks with it successfully.

If not for the Cynergy, my next choice would have been a Beretta Onyx, 686, or a FAIR Shotgun.
