Hello
I have myself a beauty browning double automatic, which I believe to be a early production year - (1953-1957) It is a standard with a 28" ventilated barrel which I am told through research is a skeet choke, but when given to me, my grandfather told me it was a full choke he had modified slightly, so a dime was able to pass through it.
I love the gun, it shoots great, have killed lots of ducks and some pheasants with it. He used it for geese, as did my uncle. I have used steel in it with absolutely no problem, at all.
Unfortunately the butt stock has developed a crack near the tang, currently have it wood glued together, but will eventually continue to crack.
The breech block buffer has also recently gave way and I need to replace that, along with a new screw for it.
Here is my predicament, I have looked and looked, but have failed to find parts.
IF ANYONE ON HERE, INDIVIDUAL AND DEALER/GUNSMITH, KNOW WHERE TO GET PARTS
it would be greatly appreciated if you were to contact me via PM or commenting on this thread.
Thank you!
Lukas M.
