Browning Gold Air Rifle - any good?

Browning is not in the air rifle business, so you're basicaly paying a premium for a "Browning" re-badged rifle... Might just as well save yourself a few $$ and get it straight from the manufacturer.
Personally, I'd buy a gas-piston before buying a spring powered rifle.

There are some fair and good quality springers out there. Most are made in China but the high quality ones come from Germany.

I have a Browning break barrel pneumatic pistol and I'm not fond of it. Sure it shoots but it's not very powerful.
I have Crosman and Benjamin air rifles and I find them superior to my Stoger X5. Beeman or Marksman are other brands I wouldn't recommend either.
