Browning gold light10?

I shot an original steel/wood version for 10 years. Best autoloader of any 10ga by far. I shot the "light" version once, swapped a fellow mine for his for a morning goose hunt. The difference in recoil was astounding. That extra pound taken off may have been nice for carrying or coming up to point with but it definitely let you know you were shooting a 10ga where my steel/wood version was like shooting a 12 ga with standard loads. I also fully believe wood has more recoil absorbing property than plastic. That "light" version IMO was not nice to shoot.

I GOT A 3 1/2 12 GUAGE that kicks harder than my lite 10 and i shoot all reloads in the 10 that got alot more bang than all the factory loads i tried i don't evan notice the recoil compared to most of the 12's i used.

I bought mine 3 weeks ago and we have shot 30+ big Canadas,it has jammed once on me in 70 rounds. its the best auotoloading 10 out there but its still not as good as my beretta or benelli for quality or feel. I have not noticed a huge advantage to the 10, a 12 gauge with bismuth is still better. If you dont hunt that much just buy heavy shot.I dont find recoil bad at all.
