Just bought a Browning Gold series in 22 cal. Can see nothing here regarding the gun. Mine is the synthetic version. I can't shoot it for a while unless I want to go for a ride in the country tomorrow. Working for 3 weeks non-stop after tomorrow. It cost me $329 in Sask.

Cool. Let us know how you like it. I saw those listed at Cabellas, but like all their Browning air rifles, they were on backorder. What do you plan to do with it?

These are a Turkish gun imported by UmarexUSA. Just so you know, there is no parts support from UmarexUSA in Canada if you should need a part outside of warranty. If it breaks within warranty period, they will replace the whole gun. They are throw-aways. My advice would be to take it back while you still can.

Are they that bad? It isn't a cheap gun in terms of price. I will just be using it lightly. What I intend to do is go to the range, shoot some pallets, than .22LR than what ever other rifle/pistol floats my boat at the time. Just cheap shooting practice. I have a dozen other units to shoot so it won't see a lot of shooting like a 12 year old would use. Do you think that in time there will be parts for sale? It is a new product as far as I know. Most products now days are throwaway as far as I'm concerned! Seeing that it is registered with the gun registry maybe a PITA to return anyway.

I got to the range with the Browning. I couldn't believe how much it kicked and it is hard to #### as well. The place was busy as it was just before deer hunting season and a weekend so I didn't have a lot of quality time with it. It has good range but needs to be broken in some I think, not real accurate yet. I just took it out of the box and shot it with open sights at 25 yards.
