Very nice! I have had a number of Hi Powers and they are great guns.

try posting in exchange forums for WTB, ya never know.
the Inglis ones are the ones to collect, but new ones are made abroad. i shot my friends Inglis.... so nice

I happened across an Inglis a few years ago for a very good price so i bought it. First "big" calibur pistol i ever owned. Still have it and love to shoot it. Not the most accurate but a great gun.

...
If I wanted a Hi-Power, the CF ones are the last ones I would set my sights on... Thank God we're getting new pistols soon...

I'm curious. What do you mean by "soon"? Last I heard of the project to select a new General Service Pistol the request for proposals received nil returns from industry.

MikeHammer,

Wow mine is identical to that but doesn't have the emblem on the fore strap. Wonder if mine had it at one time but it wore completely off. and my serial number starts with 0T not 2T. Mine has all the same proof marks as yours too. Can you tell me what yours is worth?

No real idea of value, I just know that it's priceless to me, it was my grandpas WWII issue sidearm. Would like to get it appraised just for insurance purposes.

Well I sent pictures of mine to ellwood epps and they quoted me $800 retail which from what I see other ones selling for seems pretty accurate. Yours, like mine, has more personal value though I'm sure.
