BAR MKII Safari 30-06. Mounted is Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40 with Weaver 2 piece steel bases, Weaver "high" Grand Slam Steel rings/mounts and butler creek flip-up caps. Brand New, Unfired, Factory condition..minus one extremely small ding/dent on the buttstock thanks to a safe kiss. Still with box, and manuals.

how much would this be worth to sell???

Thanks...

browning

I'd say about 950 - 990

650 for the gun
300 scope
bases and rings typically not much value (yours, since steel, maybe 30-40)
Scope caps next to zero resale

$650 for gun.... I just paid $1300 for the rifle alone!!
another $400+ for the scope...etc..I know rings and caps don't bring much value..

I think my total came to around $1800+ a little...

Would it drop that much.....???

Yes, it would drop that much. You might get $1050 for the package. Guns are like cars....30% depreciation minimum by driving them off the lot.

I'm betting your $1300.00 included taxes. No-one will pay for your taxes when they buy a used gun.

Next time buy used or plan on keeping it. Keep the scope and rings and put it on the next gun.

I know a guy here in Nb that is looking for a BAR in 30-06. PM with details and Ill pass it on to him.

It aint NEW anymore cuz you bought it. Warranty issues etc which you cannot provide. Separate the scope anyways cuz you will get nothing for it selling it with the gun. How about the store taking it back or giving you a trade-in? You might want to ask around but keep in mind that any dealer that buys it will expect to make some profit on it. Besides, like most of the folks on this site, if I pay new price I am getting a new rifle with full warranty and store support. I buy from you and Im on my own. AMFYOYO as in:)
Mucho luck compadre.

I asked the question..how much?? because I was curious to see what I would get IF I were to sell it..I do plan on keeping it as my main big game rifle. I was just wondering how much it could go for if the decision came about..

Thanks for all the numbers..

I was curious..and there are a lot more people on here that know alot more about gun values and firearms in general than I do.....Is it really any different than asking...is such and such a caliber "OK" for such and such an animal???

Anyway..over now..
