Any gunsmiths out there that can replace a broken locking lug cam (frame cam)
seems even the part itself is very elusive.
Surecycle in the US used to make them and market through Midwest Gun Works but not anymore.
Part may have to come from factory leftovers or Nato surplus.
Browning Canada was no help.

Is yours broken broken or do you just have a lot of wear and therefore poor fitment? I believe there's getting to be less and less demand for this with hp's not being used in competition as much. It seems like a custom proposition now with the new lug machined from scratch...

I'm asking about the nature of the break in case it may be easier to build up the lug with a weld similar to how sxs shotguns get their locking lugs built up and tightened?

mine is broken and half missing

You might be SOL because that is a critical pressure component on the High Power. If Browning isn't doing servicing in CA, you might need to get a Customs expert involved to send it to an across the border repair facility.

It used to be that warranty repairs were exempt by signing a declaration at Customs. I don't know what it is called anymore.

Gunco in Ottawa has repaired these in the past. with all the different manufacturers of hi powers this part is not interchangeable with most models. It will most likely have to be manufactured to fit your pistol. $$
Gunco is closed for hunting season opening at the end of the month.
