BLRs are decent rifles, and the WSM would fit nicely into its short action. If you got $900, buy one!

Good rifle and a good cartridge.

If you buy this combo though get a good scope with plenty of eye relief as it WILL want to roll up at the shot and give you a black eye.

I have the BLR 300, LOVE IT, you won't be wasting your time, but definetely make sure you have plenty of eye relief!

I sure like mine in .308 Winchester.

I've shot one in .308. It's a very nice gun...don't know if I would bother with a .300wsm in this carbine-like rifle though. I'd opt for the .308 instead.
