browning maxis

im tinking of buying one..what do you guys think of them..

Shot one this fall, know a couple of guys with them. No issues that I know of other than I have heard they donot fit as well to everyone as did some of the older brownings so they suggest you shoulder one before putting out the cash.

I have a Maxus that I use for both clays and waterfowl. I find that it is soft recoiling and functions very reliably. It's easy to break down for cleaning and is light to carry. I like mine but as 3Macs1 said you may want to shoulder 1 first or possibly give 1 a try before purchasing. Bac4

I have owned one since last september. Have shot approximately 2500 rounds through it, mostly at sporting clay targets, so light loads and havent had more than a handful of malfunctions. As far as fit goes, i like mine just the way it came out of the box, but can not speak for everyone. The gun does come with shims for fit adjustment though. I would recommend you try one out, as I am a big fan of mine.
