This is a fairly new gun but I am hoping that someone out there has handled one.

I was about to buy a Winchester SX3 but then I came across this beauty. It appears as if the two guns are very similar as they are both made by Browning.

Any reviews or opinions?

The bolt internals seem to be the same, differences being the forearm attachment, the gas piston descriptions are different, and the Maxus has mag cut off for loading a shell from hand instead of the mag tube.

Pick which one feels better. My SX3 cycles anything 1 1/8 oz or bigger to 3 1/2" I find 3 1/2" to be practically useless as I am not a big enough guy to handle the recoil (for lead turkey loads that is). I shoot plenty of target with my SX3 using #7- #8 target loads and have never failed to cycle.

Right now I don't own either but have had the opportunity to shoot both and you cannot go wrong buying either one in my opinion.

I do own a few older browning golds and a superx2 all of which have performed perfectly for me over the past 10 years.
If I had to select one of the two you noted it would probally be the browning just because it fits me a bit better but that is it.
