I have run into a problem. This action is different from the previous A Bolt actions I have re barreled. The front of the action is completely round with no flats...

I do not have an action wrench that will remove this action, and no time to stop and make one.

Does anyone have an action wrench that works on this action? I am thinking an internal wrench that would engage the front lug area would be ideal.

I need some help from someone that has actually re barreled a Browning Mountain Titanium rifle.

I now have a wrench and I have removed the barrel...

Holy crap Batman... 1 inch tenon with 32 tpi. Never seen such a fine thread on a barrel before.

I've always been told not to mess with Brownings as the barrels are on so tight you can twist the action. Did you have to relief cut the barrel shoulder?

No, the barrel was not torqued tight at all... you could force the recoil lug to move... The barrel threads are tight though... wrench required all the way off...

I have never had a problem removing A Bolt/BBR barrels... they are not torqued that tight, it is just the tight thread fit with sealant that causes some effort to remove... and the occasional stainless one may gall and wipe out some threads. As always an action should be engaged close to the threads, not at action length by the action wrench.
