Browning Question

Anyone have or hear about problems with the Browning Gold Fusion? Browning makes great guns but just wondering why they might have stopped making this one. Perhaps I should just buy the silver hunter.

Because they are making the maxus. I have a silver hunter, love it. The silver will be your choice if you wanna keep the gold action, or you want wood.
 
Nothing wrong with them at all, Browning was simply phasing out the Gold line of semi auto's. I had one and loved it, a great range gun, but used it as part of a trade for a 525. I've owned 5 other Golds, and they've all been awesome guns. Fusions are getting very hard to find, so if you find one and you want it, better grab it. You won't be sorry.
 
The Browning Gold was and is a great gun. A gun like the gold is never discontined because it is not good or there is a problem. It is discontinued because the company wants to sell us something new.

I like the look of the fusion better than the silver, and seems to be a little more cost efficient since it includes the abs case, and chokes.

I have a 12 ga 525 sporting and love it, but am looking for a 20 ga semi. Trying to stay in the browning family.
