Browning Safari with Sako Vixen action?

I'm looking to buy a Browning safari that was built with a Vixen action, gun was originally a 222 but it was rebored to 223.

Anyone know the ballpark prices for that rifle? I tried googling a lot but can't find anything really precise...

It's not a precision rifle, it's a hunting/sporter rifle.

An accurate description of condition and some quality pictures...

Other wise $300 to $700... what's the asking price?

Thanks for the answer, asking price was 1000$, i think its a little overpriced.

rifle looks in VG condition but the rounds fired are unknown...

If it is a salt cured stock is a concern, you would need to inspect the metal under the stock. The rechambering reduces value. I could see an original in excellent condition selling for over $1000.

From what you describe, and the fact that it was re-chambered I'd say $700 tops.

Have seen a pile of unmolested Sako A1's in both Sporter and HB sell in the $700-800 range

What others have said ,,,and Re chambered to 223??.... $500,,,would have been best left as .222
