Browning service???

Years ago Browning had a program with Micro Midas shotguns. You'd buy a micro Midas BPS and then "register" with them in order to receive a regular butt stock (when shooter grew out the LOP) at certain discount.

I contacted Browning via email and let them know that now is the time. Fast response from Browning in Canada but they said that it will be a couple month before the new stock arrives from the US but they can send me additional stock spacers while I wait. And they did ship out the spacers right away, even including a spare mag plug at no cost for shipping or parts !

I had also sent a pic of the Midas butt stock to Browning to show what kind of finish it had (different finishes were used satin/gloss at that time) and asked if they can match it if possible. Again, they did.

Yes, it was a bit of a wait (3 month instead of 2) and a couple bumps along the way. But I got what I wanted... Have no reason to complain about their customer service.

Got the X-bolt back last Wednesday. Looked like a new rifle again. Just over a two month turn around time. I bought two A-bolt 300 WSMs while the X-bolt was being repaired. So I posted the X-bolt for sale and mailed it out Friday morning. There was a few little hiccups along the process but all and all it was not a bad process. The part that really leaves me a bit put off is the fact that it cost me $80 to send the rifle in for a problem that was no fault of my own.
Also sent a Burris Black Diamond scope in for warranty. They say it is fixed and on its way back. See what kinda review I leave them in the optics section once it gets back.
