I was wondering if anyone knew where I could go to help determine the value of a browning shotgun I own.
From my own research it is a 1955 (serial number is 45###) Browning Superposed 12 gauge Over-Under with the long tang, round knob, and Y-Inlet. Barrel length is 26.5" and I think the top barrel choke is Cylinder Bore and the bottom barrel is modified. I also think it is a Grade I (blued reciever, no gold inlay).
All parts have matching serial numbers on them, wood is in good condition (considering it is a 50+ year old gun), metal is free of rust, one 5" scratch inside the bottom barrel.
I would post pictures but I am up north right now without the gun handy, I can post some if it would help.
I am not looking to sell this gun, only to try to determine a value for it.
