Browning T Bolt opinions

Not sure if mine is of the Japanese built.
Bought new last summer so probably.
I went for the digital cammo.
Looks a bit weird, but the touch to the hands is
good as far as I'm concerned.
Sure won't drop it if you're hands are wet or gooey.
This one comes with the spare rotary mag in the end
of the butt.
And it will stay in there full of ammo.
This rifle is meant to shoot the LR ammo.
I didn't know this when I bought it new so if you are wishing to
shoot shorter, this may not work for you.
I haven't been able to lighten the trigger to the three plus pounds
the manual says and the bolt is fair stiff.
Needs to put to more use.
Decent rifle for the kerch$ng.

Browning t bolt with rotary mag is made in Japan. Have a Belgian T1 with a 5 shot straight mag. Shoots just great. Better Ruger???????? Reports have it that the Jap versions are of very good quality.

have a t-bolt t/v in 17hmr......... like it a lot. traded of a ruger 77/17 sporter because the ruger wouldn't group. the t-bolt action will loosen up within a couple hundred rounds

I had the first new model in town, it was beautiful. There were a few things I didn't like so much, the feed rails on the magazine, where the plastic sat in front of the metal was starting to wear. The trigger itself is also plastic and while it probably would never be an issue, it was always in the back of my mind. The quality was stunning, with a beautiful finish to the metal, and a beautiful stock. I really liked how the bolt locked up perfectly with the reciever. It shot ok, not as good as I expected out of a $700 rifle, but it was ok. My CZ did out shoot it easily though. The chamber is a semi target chamber and after a few thousand rounds it became sticky and the extractor started to jumped the rim on the empties. I would buy another, but not at their going price.

I have one in 17hmr, great plinker. Also have an old Belgian one in 22lr, even nicer. The new ones have come down in price a bit.
The Jap has the ugly digicamo stock, but I painted it black with Alumahyde, now it's presentable. Price was $450 new from a site sponsor, I'm guessing since that stock wasn't a big seller. The synthetic stocked ones have a handy spot for a spare mag in the buttpad area.
Very accurate little gun, accounted for several dozen beaver last spring.

What distance is that group at?

Three five shot groups at 50 yards using three different loads. Federal bulk pack Champions, Winchester Xpert and Winchester Dynapoints if I remember correctly. The extra hole at the far right was fired using the same load as the group on the far left. Each load printed further and further left, without adjusting the scope. Confused, I fired one extra round of the first load and it printed closer to center again, as opposed to that third group which ended up way in left field. That was the first time I've ever seen that. Usually you'll see a load print high or low, but these shots were fired on the paper as you see it, and each load walked left. Goofy I know, and other then the first group, the other two really aren't that bad. But the CZ that's next to the T-Bolt in the first picture fired three tight clusters, all in about the same spot using the same loads in the same order.
